Partly it be correct, but the social system or so called society exerts certains pressures on individuals which affects the family value system negatively. So the problem lies with the heads, "Governance" of any organized society of human pharlanx. The popular saying "If you cant beat them you join them" was opted from the erosions of family humane values which have collapse to meet their needs, like you rightly pointed their yearnings and plight are ignored and never considered. Though the family be "Building blocks op the Society", however its been corrupted by the system. The problem rest with the GOVERNMENT.

Wat do you expect, when the yearnings and aspirations of the governed are most times not met by the government... anything can happen.
The trick is "meet most or all of these needs, and see if corruption will strive". But at the same time, 'charity begins at home' ... if parents teach their children to be content with whatever they have, the society will shun the act of 'greed'.
However, there is no excuse for these acts... i rest my case for now!

Hi all, very interesting and worthwhile group to belong. I will want someone to share his knowledge on official fraud, i understand these private sector fraud is an effect of the public service corruption. Interested in unravelling how are public offices like the banks/government institutions are interlocked to perpetrate succesful criminal fraudulent practice. It takes two to tangle and without their aiding the private organ/individual i see fraud as almost impossible at the one end! Please any highlight.

Hi Chidi,
You could be right...i just tried to login to dat site (https://webpay.interswitchng.com/webpay) wit my Safari web browser and i got a message that "it cant verify the identity of the website...the certificate of dat site is issued by an unauthorised issuer. it goes further to say that it appears i might be connecting to a website pretending to be webpay.interswitchng.com and that this could put at risk my confidential information on my computer."
Well, i did not stop there, i went further to verify the certificate and here's wat i found:
The certificate was issued to VeriSign Class 3 Extended Validation (watever that means?) to INTERSWITCH LIMITED (RC 419469) a SERVICE DELIVERY GROUP located at Plot 1648c, Oko Awo Close, Victoria Island.

Question is: Could InterSwitch have made the mistake of getting a pirated certificate or is someone pretending to be InterSwitch?

Well, anything fit happen for Naija!
Lets all be careful in our dealings.
Always verify from the company directly before giving any confidential info.

Good one, Chidi!

Please update and verify your information by clicking the link below:

I believe very much that this a scam and can you imagine a whole interswitch missing the "e" in Sky(e)bank.

I guess i just received a 419 call on my phone from one Eng Axxxxx Jxxxxx. He says he works at CHEVRON in xxxx but now transferred to yyyy to head a department.
He says he got a very strong recommendation of our services and wants me 2call Mr. Sxxxxx Wxxxxx in xxxxx who wants our ccccc service.

He went further to ask my name and after that, he says he wants to sell a product to Mr. Sxxxxx Wxxxx at a certain price and didnt want him to know about the actual cost. I should stand in line to convince him and we will share the money 50-50. i told him he should give me a call since am using a pay phone. He says network is really bad in yyyyy for him to load airtime (he doesnt know am in yyyyy too?). So i said, i'd call him back since am on the road. He was desperate to know "how many minutes time i will give him a call". I told him ASAP.

He called me from 08036308nnn9.
He wanted me to call Mr. Sxxxx Wxxxxx on 0703378nnnn7.
