Segelu Nigerian President Umaru Yar'Adua 'returns home'

Ailing Nigerian President Umaru Yar'Adua has returned home secretly after three months' medical treatment in Saudi Arabia, reports say.
A plane landed from Jeddah at the presidential wing of Abuja airport in the middle of the night, where an ambulance was waiting on the tarmac.
Earlier this month, Vice-President Goodluck Jonathan became acting leader as fears mounted of a power vacuum.

DAAR Communications Plc (owners of Ray Power 100.5 FM radio station and AIT) has dragged the Federal Government to a Federal High Court in Abuja over plans to withdraw its network licence given to it about 14 years ago. Segelu Banks to sack 5,000 this week

There are strong indications that the on-going wind of massive job cuts in banks will blow unabated before the end of the year.
